    Low water pressure.
My Grandmother had her hot water heater replaced, but before she done that the hot water on the washer was a low trickle. After it was changed out the hot water to the washer is perfect and the rest of the house has low pressure.

What can be done to fix the problem?

    Thanks Tammy!

    Hey Tammy:

First place to check will be at the aerators (see picture) at the end of the faucet spouts. These twist out clockwise and will need to be cleaned. Simply remove (use pair of pliers if need be) and then clean the aerator... run water without aerator in place.. is there better pressure? If there is, continue cleaning aerator and replace and on to next one.

If this doesn't work then I suggest that you call the people that installed this and have them come back and determine exactly what is wrong. It is a plumber's responsibility to make sure they leave the home in proper working order!

If that won't fly, then pop back and let us know and we will see if we can help in other ways.

Let us know how it goes...
