Changing Ceiling switch connect to a Bathroom Fan
I am trying to change a ceiling switch which operates a Bathroom fan. The switch taken down has 2 Neutrals 2 Lives & an Earth. There were 2 Neutral wires 2 Live wires and 2 Earths wired into it. Presumably Live, neutral & Earth from main and Live, Neutral and Earth for the fan.
I cannot find the same switch in either Homebase, B&Q or Focus so have bought a switch which can be used as 1 or 2 way switch; wiring for L1 (Switched Live), L2 & Common.
Can this switch be used, if so how do I connect all the wires that I have.

    Thank you

You must be in Europe or at least non-US. Don't know European wiring practices but pretty sure the switch you purchased won't work. You need to find an electric supply that has the right switch. Unfortunately I haven't seen any knowledgeable European electricians participate in this site.
