    Pay a little higher preimium??

Insurance for most of the jobs will depend on number of clients, type of work done and how much liability insurance and the number of years in business. So new business is going to cost more. Bonded has to do with the risk, and to be honest unless your client requires it there is no real need, if you have employees handling your money, you may want them bonded to protect you.
