    Buying a Jaguar
We are considering the purchase of a good condition 1989 Jaguar XJS. Anyone have any cautions or advice regarding this specific year/model of the Jag?

I owned one - the suspension system is a problem on these cars. An expensive problem. I don't know if it's because of the age of the vehicle, mileage - but it was a problem from the beginning.

EDIT: I read this wrong. I had a 1999. Sorry. Mine was a convertible - I don't know if there are other models. It's the only Jaguar I ever owned and I knew little about the car.

My TV fizzled out, old, not worth repairing. I wandered into the electronics store and the selection is dazzling. The salesperson told me about plasma TVs, I think one was LCD's - is any one kind better than another? Does any one kind make better sense than others? This is a bedroom set so...
