I have been talking to this guy for about a month. He's a little younger than me but he seems to be really mature. We talked everyday and we had an amazing first date. Things were going great until last weekend when other things got in the way and we weren't apply to meet up. See my friend from out of town came into town and I wanted to spend some time with him. My guy, mike said he was OK with that. Than on Sunday when he called me we discussed going to a party but there was no set time as to when we would meet. I ended up calling him back an hour late asking for a time as to when we would be meeting and he got all weird. Saying stuff like you mean to tell me you don't have any other plans tonight? And just giving me a hard time about the whole thing. We weren't argueing on the phone but he ended up hanging up on me. I texted him and he never responded. On Monday I sent him a few texts asking for explantion and he just said that he was working. And I haven't heard from him since. I know we weren't talking for long but he really made me happy and I just don't understand what happened. Part of me really wants to try and call him again or try and run into him because he works at the mall but, the other part of me thinks that I should try and just forget about him. Help!

Ok. I have had similar problems. I didn't know what exactly to do with a girl I had met and know for a while. Now first things first. You don't want to contact him for at least a day or so. Do not seem desperate. I was really into the girl that I had met, and we talked, and then I kind of had the same situation, where I wasn't able to get a response back from her. Well, I kept texting here and there and I called once, but I never got a reply. I ended up driving her away. I regret that. If it is meant to be it will happen, when you bump in to him someday. Like in the mall or something! I wouldn't push it though

Generally men are structured to chase women. I am not saying all men, but I am saying a great deal of them. It makes them feel like a man(whatever that means). Personally my attitude is that it should be a chase and be chased equality amongst the sexes, but sometimes that is not how it is.
I have simple rules that I follow. If I call someone and they don't call me back, I don't call them again. I usually don't text, because sometimes people don't get them.
If you called and texted him however many times you did, I think that he gets the point, you want to talk to him. But if he hasn't called you back, then you should get the point, he doesn't want to talk to you. I know that it sucks, but that what it sounds like. Give him some space.
