    Error message
I am getting an error message that says "C:\program1\symantec\s32evnt1.DLL. An installable virtual device driver fialed Dll initialization. Choose "close" to terminate the application.

    I don't have Symantec/Norton Anti-Virus installed on my computer.
I get this error when I'm trying to remove my print drivers to reinstall my printer as it won't work now either.

The first thing I would try is this

If that doesn't work and you are sure there aren't any Symantec/Norton products on your PC try:
    • Click on Start >> Run
    • Type: regsvr32 /u s32evnt1.dll
    • Hit enter
