How do I get a mistamedor exsponged from years ago
I applied for a Job and got it accept when they pulled my backround check They found a previous record from 1999 and didn't hire me because of it. How do I get it exsponged and if I do so will anyone ever find the crime again?:confused:

I has been over 8 years, so assuming the state you live in, allows records to be explunged, and assuming the judge in that court will allow it, yes you can. You hire an attorney and he will make a motion in court to have it explunged.
In the US, they are available still for National Security background searches, they will be available to the police to see. Also this only seals or explunges the official government record, not any of the 100's of private search firms that may or may not already have that info in their files. With today's computer networks, it is not possible to say no one will ever find it. |
