    Humming pipes
    My pipes have recently produced a humming sound when I flush the toilet or run a faucet. I have no leaks

    A humming pipe will usually stop once the water stops flowing. Likely cause is a loose washer somewhere in your supply line. Turn on a faucet and walk around your basement touching all the valves you can find including the main, any vibration noticed?
