    Unable to conceive
Me and my wife are trying for a kid for at least 6 months now, but no luck. Her periods always comes a day or two before her expected date, but today it came exactly when it was expected.
Haven't seen the doctor yet. (My wife little shy in going to doctor)

Any suggestions. Should I go for sperm test.
Any position you people suggest to have s*x.

Any suggestions comments will be helpful
    Thanks

I know it may seem like a long while, but only 6 months of trying is not long. Most American doctors will not give you a fertility consultation until you are trying for at least 1 year with no results.

Its possible that your delay is just a matter of timing. While it's a common belief that ovulation occurs around day 15 of a cycle, that isn't necessarily true. Each cycle can be different, just as each woman is. There are ways to determine ovulation by charting basal body tempratures and cervical fluids, but if your wife is not interested in that (it doesn't appeal to many people) you could consider purchasing OPK's (ovulation predictor kits). They are similar to home pregnancy tests but are meant to detect fertile days. (Charting is explained in Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler)

The simpliest way to try to conceive is to relax and let nature take its course. Its nothing short of a miracle that something as small as sperm and egg can find each other! Without being able to pinpoint ovulation, try having sex at least every other day for 2 weeks in the center of her cycle. At most, a couple is only fertile for a maximum of 6 days. Sperm can live up to 5 days in the right conditions while an egg is only viable between 12 - 24 hours.

    Good Luck

Six months is a short time, have you and your wife both been checked ? Also have she checked with the doctor to get a good schedule for sexual intercourse to make it the most productive ?
