    Hi,
I am trying to become pregnant for the past 3 months and not yet successful.I am 26 and my husband is 29.My periods start every 30 days and for the past 2 months its kind of irregular.I am having heavy clots during periods and it usually comes 2-3 days late than my usual date.
I am charting my ovulation calender using BBT technique and also ovulation kit.Myself and my husband are having sex regularly during the time of my ovulation, but I am not successful in getting pregnant. This is bothering me and my husband a lot. Will getting DNC done help me in this regard.

Three months seems like a long time when you are trying to get pregnant, but it can naturally take some couples a year or so... this is why most doctors won't start considering testing until this time. Being a couple of days off your usual cycle is not normally a concern.

Have you had an ultrasound done to determine if there is a reason for a D & C or is it simply a question of whether it will help fertility wise? Unless there was a true medical reason that makes a D & C necessary, I wouldn't use it, and wouldn't think a doctor would even perform it, simply as a means of seeing if it helps someone get pregnant.

Wise of you to be trying different means of determining when you are most likely fertile, but it may be that if you limit the times of having sex for that purpose, you may be missing your ovulation. Some women will ovulate outside of the norm.

If having sex on a regular basis throughout your entire cycle seems like too much of a good thing, start trying in earnest about a week, with maybe a few extra days added on for good measure, before you suspect ovulation.

    Good luck!

This happened when me and my partner tries for our first we tried for 7 months everything was written down we tried on the days I was ovulating everything was about making a baby and it stressed meout sooooo much always thinking about why not me why not this month I don't know how much money I spent on tests, it got to the point where we stopped trying which made me less think about it and then bang a month later I was pregnant, don't get stressed over it relax take a few weeks out of not trying and working yourself up not getting pregnant then it might happen ;) good luck

Charting is a good choice to help you conceive but its not a guarantee. It still takes time and 3 months isn't really a lot even though it feels like it. Just try to relax and let nature take its course. :)

D&C's aren't done to help you get pregnant. They are actually done primarily to either remove fetal tissue (in case your body needs help to miscarry) or to remove access tissue during long, heavy periods. D & C Procedure after a Miscarriage
