    Vibrating noise in walls/pipes
    I recently had a new shower installed, and now I have a loud vibration sound whenever water is run upstairs (toilet, tub, shower, or even a sink tap).

    What is it? Do I need to get the workmen back in her to fix it?

    Yes I'd get the work men back to check it all over.

    It could just be an air lock in the pipes, they'll just need to be bled.

    Please describe the sound more specifically, banging, poping, creaking or sounds like you stuck a piece of paper in a fan blade. Air locks only exist in radiator circulation pipes, not in water supply lines.

    It sounds like there is something loose in your new faucet (stem, washer... etc)... but it also applies to the upstairs faucet.

    Also, make sure your plumber didn't install your new faucet (body) upside down.

    What's the brand name of the shower valve? One handle or two knobs? Was the supplies flushed out before you installed the valve? Back to you, Tom
