    My boyfriend is leaving.
Well, I am 14 and my boyfriend is 19. I know age difference, legality, blah blah blah. We've gone out before a few months ago but I decided I shouldn't pursue anything because he leaves for the Navy in September. Not to mention his best friend is my ex (also 19) and he hurt me bad.T_T But that isn't the point. Well, I broke up with him but we stayed friends. He is reeeally sweet and truly does love me (or so he says) and we recently decided to try dating again. But he is still leaving in September, and school starts soon...

I am so unsure about this whole thing but he seems so sure, I don't know if I will ever meet anyone like him again though.. Should I wait for him?

And for the record my parents know about him, they don't care as long as I am happy.:)

Please help and try to be nice. I've never been good at making smart decisions, help me start?:)

At 14, you have your whole life ahead of you. You can be sure, you'll meet a lot of guys to fall for, and someone will be a right one for you. There is no point of getting involved with him so much older and leaving so soon, so just forget about him, concentrate on school and making yourself busy and happy with your own life.

You haven't learned your lesson, right?

You dated his best friend and now you dated him.
His ex treated you badly. What makes you think this guy will treat you better?

Also, stay in your dating range... seriously~

5 years isn't a big gap, but child to adult? Yes.

Despite having a very hard time believing that, why should you waste the fun years of your life on any one, no matter the age. Leave your options open, and enjoy this special time in your life.
