    Bank Account Garnishment
    Bank account garnished

We just had our bank account garnished for an old debt. HOw many times can they garnish your bank account once they have taken a certain amount. Can they keep taking the money out of your account until the debt is settled?

While it can differ by state, yes, they keep taking any money you put in there. So you need to stop any direct deposits
