    Spelling of name change
My name is "lynda" on my birth certificate. But I didn't like the way it was spelled so I changed the way I spell it and is "linda" on my social security card, marriage license and state id. Can I get in trouble for changing 1 letter in my name?

No, so long as you don't do this to defraud anyone. If you have this on the SS card, your marriage license and state ID, you are obviously not defrauding anyone.
