Hi. I guess when you think of a one sided love, for me, I'm seriously on the other side. I work with him and I see him sometimes at school too. But as I got to know him, I realized how much I started to like the guy. I'm always very serious, but he looks at things in a very simple way and nothing seems to be complicated anymore. And he makes me laugh! It was going really well and then he just, sort of, stopped speaking to me. It was really awkward at work too. But now, everything seems fine and we're talking like nothing ever happened. I've liked him for two years. And it always hurts because I know he'll never really like me back. Trust me, I'm not really the ideal type of girl out there. But I keep on hoping I'll get shifts with him, or get classes with him, just to at least see him. What do I do? Every time I get an emotional high, I get very very depressed. I need some help!

Awwww honey this one is the worst unclaimed love going because I've been there and back let me ask you this are really in love with this guy or do you just like the fact of you and him? because there is a difference it happened to me a few months ago and apparently he liked one of the "popular girls" instead of me! Anyway just see if he flirts with you like trying to strike up a convosation with you then that should give you a insight of what you might be like together as a couple. Just try it.

I really think I do love him. I don't think I've ever thought of the fact of me and him, but I think about him a lot. And it frustrates me because I feel like I'm being so pathetic! Also, I'm one of those girls that have no talent whatsover in reading or initiating flirting... thanks for your answer!!

You are a great person. You need to have a higher self confidence. I used to think that way about myself too. Since I started dating, you should see who I have dated. Some of the weirdest people turn out to be the best. If the guy is as good of a guy as you say, he should get past appearances and first impressions, and he should want to get to know the real you.

Try to iniate the flirting, and see if he responds to you.
