    Heat does not shut off.
I have a baseboard hot water system that has a circulator but the hot water continues to flow when the circulator is not running. Is the circulator supposed to prevent the water from flowing?
    Thank you.

Sometimes you have to add a check valve to the system to prevent thermo siphoning.

If you have more than one thermostats with the system you may have a zone valve stuck open.
