    Child custody law
    I am married in another state than where I am currently living I left my husband after 3 months of marriage and was pregnant I now live in another state. What should I do next? I want to file for divorce and I want to file for custody can I do that? I have had the baby

    What are you wanting to do? Are you wanting to file for divorce? If so get a lawyer in the state that you were married and file. If that's not what you are after then please specify so you can get better answers.

    Well after the child is born, you file for cusotdy, and child support, If you are not divorced you can file for that also
