:confused: My Amana refrigerator decided to break today (2 months out of the warranty). Both vents that cool the fridge part and the freezer are blowing kind of cool air, but still not cold enuf to keep anything in the fridge cold (and everything in the freezer is completely thawed). I can hear the fridge click like its trying to cool to the set temps, but the fan doesn't kick into high gear, nor put out any cold air for the fridge nor the freezer. I'm not sure if the fuse is blown, or if it is the condenser coil? Can someone give me a step by step on what to check and how to repair it? I'm a fairly handy person and would like to avoid having to call a repair man. Thanks!!

I just read your post from last August. I could have written it. We have the same model and now have the identical symptoms. One difference - ours is 1 month out of the 5 year sealed part warranty.

Since we're dealing with this now, can I ask what the outcome was for you. What was the problem/solution.
