    Baked Bean Diet
I read that if one were to consume only baked beans for a period they would lose weight. In fact I've heard of a man losing 140 pounds in 9 months in this fashion. True?

I think the flatulence would over rule the benefits. Actually beans are protein and low in fat, so it would probably work.

Seeing as I work work work ALL THE TIME, I think this might be my best bet. No time to really set up real diets and most definitely no time or energy to work out.

I naturally just pass gas all the time anyway! So, oh weLL!!

If it is true, I'm sure he wasn't getting all the nourishment his body needed.

There are *MANY* unhealthy ways to lose weight; don't fall for any of them.

    I wish you the best.

Yes probably hard on the body and the kidneys.
Beans have protein (amino acids) like the Atkins? Diet but it is not complete protein, it would need to be combined with another type of plant protein to be as good as the complete animal protein in meat, milk fish or eggs. They (the beans) are also very high in fiber which can also help weight loss
