Axle ratio on 06 Dodge Ram 1500
    Hi there,
I am having trouble finding the axle ratio for my 06 Dodge Ram 1500.
I have looked on the sticker on the drivers door and in the glove box. I want to get a traavel trailer and do not want to buy something that will be to heaavy for my truck.
    Thanks

well, the easiest way would be to take you VIN to the closest dodge dealer. The parts department can run it and give you the info.

also check in your owners manual, sometimes the dealer puts the window sticker in with it.

    hard way:
take chalk, mark a straight line on the drivehaft by the pumpkin. (sideways - so the mark is horizontal)
put another makr on the tire (straight down). Rotate the tire one full time around. Count how many times the shaft spins.

    3 1/2 = 3.54
    3 3/4 = 3.73
    4 1/8 = 4.10
