    Broken post, crown OK
    Hi,
My crown fell out, with one third of post attached (remaining two thirds still attached in mouth). Do you think it would be possible to have a new post either on the crown or in the root canal (obviously after removal of remainder)?
I would be grateful for any advice.
    Thanks.
    Denise27.

    Hi Denise,

It might be possible depending on how the crown was designed. If the post was attached to the crown then I would think you'll have to have the whole thing replaced. Talk to your dentist about the options.

    Good luck.
