New Thermostat w/ no wiring labels
I am trying to install a new thermostat for my home, but unfortunately I removed the old thermostat before realizing I needed to label the wires (first time home owner... all this is new to me).

I had the following colors of wires:
1 Red wire (this one wire was used for two different connections - one of which I know
Was the RC connection, and the other I believe was W but am not even close to positive)
1 Black wire (which to be honest I can't even remember if it was used)
    2 white wires

The back of the old thermostat had the following connection letters
    RC, W, Y, G, and 4

The old thermostat was an old White-Rodgers thermostat

I tried to hook it all up from memory, but when I turned on the cool setting I only got hot air out of the vents.
Can anyone please help me... I am at a complete loss.

Looks like you will need to trace all the circuits down and see which color wire feeds which circuit.

That is always a tuff one when you forget to mark the conductors.
Here is a universal old to new color code list. Hope it helps
