    Spray for sqeaky brakes?
Had my front brakes replaced in my 98 Jeep. Now they sqeak. Not sure what kind of breaks were put in (metalic or ceramic). I heard there was a spray to help stop the sqeak without replacing the brake pads. Does anyone know if this spray actually exists? What is it and does it work?

Brakes squeal because of pad vibration, there is a anti-squeal adhesive that is applied between brake pad and caliper piston.

Apply Squeak Relief or similar product to the back of brake pad shims. It's always best to stick with the same brake pad compounding that came with the vehicle. That is, if ceramics came of the vehicle stay with them. Many problems come about when people substitute semi-metallic for ceramic or organic pads.
