How Much It Costs To Fix This Dent
Hello everyone, OK I recently got a car about 2 months ago and I dinged it, not on the road but just by backing up out of the driveway. Here's what happened. When I come home, my mom always parks DANGEROUSLY close to my car, like I'm a size 0 in pants XS in juniors, and I can't even get in the car on the driver's side, yeah that close...

Well anyway, I was mad one day, and I since I always could drive out, while I was turning the wheel to the right to get out the driveway, I was looking back and not forward and dinged my front "fender" I think my dad called it on my mom's back bumper.

So I was hoping that I could pay for it, but I would first like to get an estimate on how much it might cost, to save up for it. Now I don't know ANYTHING about cars, so please don't use that auto language, Keep it simple for me.

Here's the details of the dent.
    -First it's an 1995 Acura
-it's right over my left front wheel
-located on the fender, not like hole dent, but it looks more like crinkled paper
-doesn't make anything not operate, I can still lift the hood didn't knock out the left headlight or anything like that
    -it's about a foot and a half long, 3/4 a foot wide
    -half a foot deep

If you need any more information just ask, I would really like to get a feel if it's hundreds or thousands, and what can insurance do, because I was at fault.

That sounds like a good few hundred at minimum.
You might be better off going to the junk yard and getting an identical fender.

That 'dent' is not called a ding OR a dent.
If you call auto body shops and describe it you need to say it is creased

Ok, sorry I just thought it was called a dent, but so about how much does a fender cost and can I put it on my car or does an auto body shop have to put it on there.

Unless you know somebody that knows how to put it on go to a garage.
The reason I said if you call for an estimate you have to say creased is because there is a big price difference between a big dent a l crease.
