How do I go about kicking out roommate?
I have a roommate that has been late with the rent 3 times so far, most recently for the month of August. He still hasn`t paid me and now it is the 11th of August. I have talked to my landlady and told her that I am kicking him out, he is NOT on the lease and didn`t pay a deposit. I can no longer afford to have him here. My question is do I have to give him 30 days or can I kick him out by the end of the month? I have a friend moving in with me September 1st.

You will have to evict them legally, and that will depend on the laws where you live.

Contact your county court, civil division, and ask them what the procedures for eviction are.

Some places allow the landlord to process an eviction, some require an attorney.
