    Missing hard disk capacity
    I have this brontok virus that infested my HP desktop and when I rebooted my system the 80GB hard drive is now 6GB.How can I return my hard drive to 80GB?

    Hopefully you have system recovery on your HP.

    Shut it down, and then turn it back on.

    Start pushing your F-11 key as soon as you turn it on, that should get you to the recovery option.

    Do a destructive recover in the advanced tab.

    This will wipe out the computer, and reload it to "out of box" state just as when it was first purchased.

    Be sure to get some antivirus on it right away, and be sure to run all the Windows and HP updates right away as well.

    Hope you have the system recovery option.

    If sure you have this virus, get rid of it first and then address the hard drive space
