    Optional Practical Training (OPT) eligible to be employed as Assistant Professor?
    I have Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Employment Authorization Card ((F1 VISA status). Am I eligible to be employed as an Assistant Professor at University?

    All OPT employment must be in a job that is related to the student’s degree program.

    For special extended program, 12+17 months, you must have degrees in STEM...
    STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
