    Waste of Money?
I'm sorry that I keep asking about this subject, but I need some opinions. Is it waste of money to purchase a dog backpack I would use it a lot, we like to go for walks and for hikes. And I heard it makes the dog listen better because he feels like he has a purpose and job. Is a dog backpack a waste of money and a foolish idea, like I've been told.

Does the dog, go in the backpack you wear, or does the dog, wear the backpack?

A lot of things that people do are "foolish". I have three cat trees, a fancy tag collar for my dog, and have the cats trained to walk on harness and leash. Some people spend huge amounts of money on shoes, or fancy equipment for their car. So, if you can afford it, I wouldn't let other people's thoughts that it's a silly thing to spend your money on influence you.

Now, a dog backpack would be very foolish with me dog. She's not built for it, it's not the kind of job that is instinctive to her breed, we don't go on long walks that often, and she is very well-behaved. But huskies were used as pack animals in the summer when there was no snow for the sleds, so he'd probably take to it. And if he likes it, and it makes him more settled on walks, and it makes it easier on all of you, I'd say go for it. Of course, as with much of life, you won't know that until you do it. If anyone asks about it, then you can tell them all the positive things that it's done for you, or say that it sounded like a good idea, but didn't work in your case, as the case may be.

If you know it'll be used and will be worth the money then go for it!
