Hi Sizhou and welcome to the forum... So your trying to grow your first goatee beard!

Well what your asking is different for all guys as peoples hair and colours are all different... Now some people can grow these things over night and others may never grow one there whole life. I would think you would be better to shave the hair away every day which will help it grow more and more more quick for you and make the face hair stronger, but as for getting it to change colour I have no idear... This somethimes just happens with age but for some people it stays that way... Good luck with your goatee !

There are products out there which you can use to turn the color of your beard darker. In fact, there is an add on TV which I just saw concerning this. About the thickness, shaving often will cause the hair to grow thicker. But keep in mind that hair texture varies and that not everyone is able to sport the beard which he wishes to have. I speak from experience since my beard never became as thick as I wanted it to be despite shaving it regularly.

    Hi, Siz,
As your other answers have said, it's normal and natural for different people to have different hair color; either hair on the head, or beards.
Some stay lighter color, other is darker, some change colors with age.
If you are really concerned about the color, a good product is "Just for Men", mustache and beard color.
It's easy to put on, and lasts until the beard starts growing out, then has to be re-applied. Best wishes.
