    Getting Jacked
    Im a basketball player.. and I've been really trying to improve my season by getting bigger muscle mass.. at first when I began to workout I really feel it the next day.. now I don't feel anything and its not like I'm lifting peanuts anyone no why this is happening.. working out every second day is this good?. aslo after my workout I take protein drink what does this help do?

    First off, you've hit a plateau. What you need to do is to lift heavier weights... weights that you have trouble lifting. Say, if you're used to lifting 30 lb curls... go 35 and do three sets. If you can successfully go three sets of eight reps with 35s... then go 40. You have to keep moving up.

    Protein helps you build muscle mass.

    My son aways says he has to have protein with in 30 minutes of working out.
