    Computer won't connet to network
I have 2 computers and a router, My computer with windows xp had to have the os reinstalled and now I cannot connect to my router with the wireless adapter that used to work fine. I have a network name and this computer will bring it up when you ask it to see available neworks. It can see it in the preferred netwoks but how do I set it up to see this network, I used to know how to do this but it has been a while.

    Thank you

Did you install back the wireless device's software ? If not, you need to install back the software.

I think your wireless receiver is with USB. Is it? Try to install back the wireless receiver's software.

Was your wireless router configured to hide the SSID? If it was (and this is a good security precaution) then you will need to go into the router configuration and look up the SSID and enter it into your laptop's wireless profile manually.
