    Two filters
    My son bought a pool from a friend. He has installed it. It has two filters. The one with the motor looks like it has a simple filter, the second is a DE filter. Why would there be two filters? Is this necessary? Got an answer?

    Often there are two filters: one to protect the (pump) motor, and one to filter the water.
