    Do these have any value?
Hello, I'm new here. But I thought someone could help me.
My dad bought these wall pictures in an antique shop 44 years ago in, Fife in Scotland. They're made of brass, Of diamond shape. The only signature we could find has been cut through by whom ever owned them before, so we cannot tell who they were made by. Anyone know anything about them?

    Here are some pictures. :)

Hi Natalie', they are very unusual, although I have seen the pattern on the frame before.

IT looks like the pictures are on some kind of padding and then put in the frame, you can still get pictures like that now, what a shame you can't make out the signature.

Have you tried the local library there sure to have a section, where you could look up theses pictures, maybe a local antique shop could give you some info if you take them along, and even a price ,which would give you some idea of what they may be worth.

An antique dealer would at least know if they are copies and maybe how limited they are or hopefully if it's the genuine article.

Have a look and see if there is a website that covers this... maybe Antiques... pictures dated approximately 1950's ish or maybe earlier. There has to be something in this area, like there is in everything else, it may take a while but give it a try.

Did they initially originate from Scotland, or was that just where you dad bought them ?That would be useful to know.

Just a few suggestions, I hope they help.

Also do you have a local art gallery that you could go along to, even if they can't help they would know the appropriate people to ask.

Below, are the images of what you have, in case someone comes along who can readily identify them.

My guess is they are late 1950's to 1960's
