    Having problems with my condenser fan unit hook-up
    As stated before I have fan motor br,br/w,bl,and wh wires brns are on cap. And as advised black and white to top of contactor.However L3,T3,T1, are the open posts which wire goes on these posts.thanks in advance.My previous hook-up was bl. To the relay orange and purple to cap. Yellow and brown where wire-nut.

    Do yourself a big favor. Look on the side of the new motor. All motors have a wiring diagram on the side that will help you wire it correctly. There is also a wiring diagram on the inside of the service access door.

    L1 and L2 are the power imput sides of the contactor. You do not want to wire the motor off L1 L2.

    This is a figured that you are using 240 volts on the unit.

    Give me the brand and exact model of the equipment you are working on.
