    Old movie with little boy in a strange dr. seuss like world!
    OK... my roommate has mentioned to me numerous times about a movie he saw a long time ago...

    He believes it might be an old movie possibly from early as the 50s. There's a boy who gets this huge box delivered to his house and his parents aren't home. The box says don't open but he ends up opening it and there's some kind of black and white spinny thing that takes him to this crazy world with all these dr. seuss like characters...

    I've been helped by this site a few times so I'm really hoping somebody can help my friend out! Its driving him crazy and now its really bothering me haha

    Yeah I thought I and grade school teachers were the only ones that ever heard of it.
    I saw it on PBS ONCE in the middle of the night about 18 yrs ago and never heard of it since until it started getting asked here.
