    DUELING Windows Media Players
]When I go to install WMP 11 I get message that there is a more recent version WMP already installed on my computer (11.0.6000.6344)( as opposed to 11.0.5761.4532),then the message and the install go POOF! If there is another WMP on my PC it is invisible; I've searched hi and low... but who do I tell so I can install at least one? Can anyone relate to this problem? There I go tearing my hair again...

You can remove Media Player from Add/Remove Program (Windows Components) and reinstall the new one from scratch.
