Obtaining a L1 Visa for a second time
I was recently working in the USA on an L1 Visa. I opted to resign from that job, I returned to the UK and my L1 has been cancelled. I have now been approached by another USA company to work for them in the same role. What are my chances of obtaining another L1 Visa. Is it possible?

    Thanks

Yes, but you would need to give full explanation why you quit the previous job, plus your new employer needs to know this fact prior to hiring process.

L-1 and H-1 are counted in the same term. So the employer needs to know the fact as you have used a few months with the previous employer. Resignation has no effect on your new visa but will effect your term. Most work visa has 2 yrs term with possibility of extension but not exceed 6 years. It's important that you need to disclose this info to the new employer because if they find out later, they may change their minds and at that point, it may jeopardize your record.

Ok, I understand! I informed them why I left and my immigration status. The job is subject to me getting approval from DHS. Thanks again, you are Wonderful. Are you a lawyer yourself?
