9mo old still peeing in kennel
We have a 9mo old male giant schnauzer that is STILL peeing in his kennel/crate. We got him at 6wks. He started in a small kennel and is now in a large one. He is also 72 lbs. At first when we moved him to a bigger kennel (we use the plastic one) we used labmans idea of the wire closet shelf in the bottom. I thought that this was a blessing, except that it just kept him clean. I still had to put him out, take out the grate, clean it, then clean the kennel. After months of him still peeing/pooping in his kennel, we removed the grate thinking that maybe he would not enjoy laying in his pee. That has worked a bit, but we still have times when he still pees, especially in the morning.
He usually goes up at 11pm and we wake at 6:30. I am at my whits end trying to figure out what to do. Anyone have any ideas?
Also, he has checked out OK at the vet.

Like any small child you may need to limit his water intake in the eve. He may need a longer walk in the eve. Also kee in mind, like humans, some dogs are not as bright as others and ma need another method of training.
