    Legacy cases
I am a zimbabwean who arrived in uk in 2002 and claimed asylum which was substansively refused by the home office. In 2005 I presented a fresh asylum claim which at this stage the home office has not considered as yet. I contacted the Croydon offices about the progress of my claim and I was told to contact legacy team in Liverpool. May you kindly explain to me the point of fowarding my application to liverpool for a case owner?

Dude I'm on the same boat with u. every time I ring the home office they always tell me to write to my case worker in Manchester, 4 weeks ago the sent me a legacy questionnaire which needed to be sent within 20 working days. Recently sent it back 6 days later they wrote to my solicitor saying I should report to my local police station every week & I know it's a set up because I will probably get deported end of November or December 2010 that's when they are starting to deport people back to to zim. My brief solicitor is saying to me I have a very strong case because of my family tiers and also fall under the human rights act. Good Luck with your case
