Use baby orajel, it shouldn't be harful since u can give it to your baby when they are teething. I am not 100% pos but I do think it should be better than adult orajel

Orajel, much like Ambesol and others, is a dental anesthetic used to relieve pain or irritation in the mouth. The active ingredient in such an oral anesthetic will be Benzocaine, Benzocaine and Menthol, Benzocaine and Phenol, Dyclonine and Lidocaine. There are prescription doses available for these medicines that may be prescribed by your dentist. Examples of oral pain would include toothache, teething and cold or canker sores.

Dental anesthetics have not been reported to cause birth defects or other problems in humans. Also, dental anesthetics have not been reported to cause problems in nursing babies. As always, you should check with your physician if you have concerns about a particular medicine.

Things to remember about using an oral anesthetic:
    - Follow your medical doctor's or dentist's instructions if this medicine was prescribed.
    - Follow the manufacturer's package directions if you are treating yourself.
    - Do not use more of this medicine, do not use it more often, and do not use it for a longer time than directed. To do so may increase the chance of absorption into the body and the risk of side effects.
    - Dental anesthetics should be used only for conditions being treated by your medical doctor or dentist or for problems listed in the package directions. Do not use any of them for other problems without first checking with your medical doctor or dentist. These medicines should not be used if certain kinds of infections are present.

If a wisdom tooth becomes infected, then it is an issue for your health and the baby's. I would suggest you check with your dentist asap to make sure nothing is happening regarding internal infection.
