    How to adopt my girlfriend's child
    I am wanting to adopt my girlfriend's little four year old boy. The father has not made any attempt to be any kind of a figure in the boys life. He has not claimed any relation with the boy. How can I go about doing this legally ?

    You have to be married with the mother first then consult a lawyer.where u from?laws vary on different places.

    You hire an attorney who starts the adoption paperwork, you get the bio father to sign off his rights to allow you to adopt
