Replanting Sunflowers
Hi there!
Does anyone know what to do with sunflowers after they've bloomed and died? Do I cut off the head? Can I replant the head? Or is it done?
Thank you so much!!
Michelle

You can save some of the seeds and replant them next year.
You could bake them for a tasty treat.
You could feed them to the local birds this winter.

Basically it's done. You have to start all over next season with the seeds that you have properly dried and stored. Don't replant the whole head. Harvest the seeds and keep them in a cool, dry place until next season.
