Moving a design company from italy to New York
I co-own a very special wrought iron design studio in florence, italy. My italian partner is a true master iron artisan, and I am an artist with business experience. We design and make world-class furniture, lighting and décor. My partner's work has been shown around the world, and he has made pieces for some very important people. I am american (I moved from New York to florence six years ago), but I also have dual citizenship with the EU. We are seriously considering moving our business to New York, but we don't know what the best way would be to finance the transition. What kind of person would we need to organize this project? We would need a studio space/store, appropriate paperwork, an investor/investors, and someone to handle the marketing. Would a business manager be able to handle each of these aspects? What is the best way to find someone who is truly trustworthy? I also have a lot of family and friends in New York. All advice is greatly appreciated!
