How can I set up my MS VPN to allocate an alternate destination?
    Hello,

I am in the process of moving some of my application files and the user profiles with that application from one server to another to free up space on my domain controller. I have tested my brainstorm of simply deleting the application settings for that user from the domain controller and logging into the Terminal services server as that user and installing the application again only saving it to my Data drive on my Terminal Server. All is well.

Problem: If one VPN (the Microsoft built-in) is busy, how do I set up an alternate location for the VPN connection to go to say after 30 seconds or something?

Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Successfully yours,

    Dielectric

Need more info: How is your VPN server connected? What server are you using?

I would assume that your VPN server is connected to the Internet via a T1, cable or DSL connection with an assigned static IP address? If this is the case then you should not experience a "busy" connection. However, if it is connected via a phone line, then the only way that I know is to setup a number of phone connections into a "hunt group". When one is busy, the next one picks up.

If your Terminal Server is the one that is getting the VPN connections, then check your TS CALS. Are you out of licenses?
