How old are you? The lists are different for different age groups/financial resources.
First and foremost, though, date several other girls ASAP. Get out there and have some fun.

Anyony can say it's easy to get over someone that someone else has been with for a period time, but "NO ONE" can find it easy when it comes to them.
The best answer I can give you is give yourself some time and try not to hang around the places or people that the two of you hung around.
The old say goes, Love is not like water you can't just cut it off.

#1) Forgive yourself, and learn from any mistakes you made in your previous relationship.
#2) Date other girls ASAP (from JB, just putting it in the numbered list)
#3) No Contact with your ex (if necassary)
#4) Distract yourself, find things to do. Don't just lie around and think all day, and be depressed. Call up your friends, and get out in the world.
Good Luck!

At 20, I'd suggest some "event" trips, like a party cruise with some friends, or a beach trip to the Caribbean, a hiking trip across the country with a group... some real adventure outings.

I agree with Romefalls on joining a gym. The other ideas are good too but what better way to get back out there and meet new people. And on top of that, it's very productive!
