    Non resident auto ownership
I am a resident of the state of Texas. I commute to Georgia to work my 40 hours and then back home on the weekends. I had a Georgia title agent tell me today that I could not a title a car in Georgia I purchased here. I need to title it to tag it to be in compliance with Georgia law for a non resident auto operator.
    What can I do?

To title and tag a automobile in GA you have to be a resident of that state. You say you are not, but you are a resident of Texas. Thus you have to register and title and tag the car in Texas. I will also assume you have a Texas drivers license, you can't register or title or tag a car in Georgia with a out of state license either. ** I tried.
