    Thermostat Wiring
    I am removing a Robershaw Mechanical Thermostat with a Honeywell Digital Thermostat. I have a Green, Red, Orange, Yellow, White, Blue wires, also tucked in the wall was a brown wire. This is for Electric Heat/Central Air unit, I can't get it to function once I connect all the wires please help?

    Type of equipment?
    Heat pump gas furnace?
    Model of old thermostat?
    Model of new thermostat?

    The battery went dead in my crystal ball again so I have no idea what you have. That is the reason for the questions above.
