I know this is probably a bit of a random question to ask but does anyone on here know if Storm model management (london) accepts new models of any size? I'm 5'6 and size 8 and was wondering if any girls on here of a similar size have dealt with this modelling agency, or if any workers of the agency have worked with girls of this size? I've read a lot that you have to be a certain size to join, or do they accept girls of any size? (provided they have the right look)

You will be rejected from every good modelling agency unless you are 5"8, some top modelling agencies want people who are no shorter than 5"9.You are going to need to grow if you want to be a good model. Of course there is photographic modelling, and there is Kate Moss. But you are going to have to be seriously photogenic in order to reach the top this way. I think Storm are quite leanient on height.. there are some models there who are 5"7. Have you heard of Agyness Deyn, she goes to Models1, have heard of them?

You are going to need to personally go into the agency with polaroids, of CLEAR photo's of you to be able to join an agency. They need to observe that you are photogenic. They will ask for your height and perhaps your agencies.

I think size 8 is OK, it's more the height you need to be concerned about.

If they think you're worth it, they'll take you on no if you're only an inch shorter than avg. There's an agency in New York City called Just Faces. Obviously they do work w/ people who may have been rejected due to height but have beautiful faces. They do print work instead of runway. If you'd have problems due to your height, look into an agency like that.
