    Welcome to AMHD. You would contest a divorce by not agreeing with it. Are you more of a plaintiff or a defendant?

    You have to file papers with the court stating so, just respond to the divorce papers you get by contesting the reason for the divorce.

    Just so you know you can't stop the other party from getting a divorce. You just stall it out and make a judge hear the case and all the points and then order the divorce.
