    My dryer won't start
I have a kenmore dryer elite, about 3years old. It won't start. At first it had no power, I checked the breaker, and plug. Still it doesn't work. The only red lights (which are vague) that are on, are the cleck lint light, and the control locked light. Can any one give me an idea on what to check perhaps?

You state : "The only red lights (which are vague) that are on, are the check lint light, and the control locked light".

Well : did you check if there was lint, and did you remove it?

Note : ALWAYS clean the air filter from lint before running a drying cycle.
Lint can cause unnecessary heating up, fire, equipment failure, and it cost money for extra electricity use.
It also may cause your thermostat to cut out... which results in the dryer not to function other than light the "lint alarm light".

    So... :)

    Success !

Kenmore he4 panel won't work and dryer won't start [ 1 Answers ]

I have had the circuit board/panel replaced once on my he4. I had only 2 weeks left on the warranty and figured it should be OK once it was fixed. They wanted another $200 to renew the warranty! Didn't have the $$ at the time. Anyway, the same darn thing is happening... you have to push the buttons...
